Claverdon Mini and Junior Rugby Club
 

Note from the Chairman

Well done to all those people who have committed many hours of their time into maintaining and improving the standards of our Mini & Junior section at Claverdon rugby club.

2010-2011 season

Registration Days are the 5th and 12th Septmber.
Registration this year – players will need a passport size photograph. If you haven’t got one, there will be a photographer at the club. Upon payment of your subs, you will receive a Claverdon hoodie!
Our U15s will be welcome to train on a Tuesday evening with the senior squad. (there will be no contact, this part of the session will be separated off).
All help is welcome no matter how small it may seem, we are optimistic that some parents will be able to help our coaches this season with the running of the teams under the title of “Coaches Assistants”.
If you don’t want to get involved in coaching, there are also kitchen duties to help with, and various other things we need help with.

If you would like to get involved, it won’t take up too much of your time and it will be very much appreciated by all concerned.  Please note RFU ~ CERTIFICATED TRAINING WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ALL VOLUNTEERS.

I very much look forward to the new season, and hope Claverdon can build on its successes of last season.

New Players

We welcome Boys and Girls between ages 5 and 14, of all standards and believe in including all children, whatever their ability.
Meeting most Sundays between a civilised 10.30 and 12.00, we either coach the kids or play friendly fixtures against local clubs (see above).
We use RFU qualified coaches who are CRB checked� and, being a sociable club, we often enjoy having a chat and drink in the bar after training.

So, come along and join the fun!


Coaches / Helpers


We are also keen to recruit coaches for our minis and juniors. All applications are subject to appropriate checks. Dedicated to giving children a fun time, whilst learning a little about rugby and being part of a village club. There is a fantastic atmoshpere at the club and a great social side for all of the family to enjoy.
